We already know Nokia and their confusing rumors. Today we want to clarify this confusion by giving a clear idea of what Nokia plans to launch this year: the Nokia 8 - also known as Nokia P1. The Nokia 8 looks to be significant for this brand during 2017. Read on to find out more about the Nokia 8, the new version of the classic "old school" brand.
Nokia 8: Design
It is rumored that the Nokia 8 Android is going to have a beautiful metallic design. The Sim and Micro SD cards will be placed in the lower left corner and the rear camera will be protected with a metal cover. The Nokia 6 is metallic and HMD Global has given a very detailed explanation of its elaborate process. This makes us believe that the new Nokia will also look metallic. We believe that the Nokia 8 Android will look like the Nokia 6 to maintain that feeling of familiarity, although we have also heard some rumors that the design may be based on the Sharp Aquos P1.
It has aluminum edges, USB-type C input, black and white colors and a large screen that will occupy almost the entire front of the mobile. A picture is worth a thousand words. Take a look at this video to get a clear picture of what we think the Nokia 8 is going to be.
It seems that Nokia 8 wants to opt for something powerful like the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 and 6GB RAM. Not bad. The wide screen we discussed before is 2560 x 1440 pixels isn't bad either. 23 or 24 megapixel camera and Zeiss optics for the rear camera, just like the Xperia Z5. Okay, they convinced me there! We are hoping to have the convenient features mentioned above for USB-type C, microSD and interesting hardware, such as the VR platform. With Google's new Daydream VR platform, we expect Nokia to join the clan.
Regardless of the rumors we have of the Nokia 8, what is certain is that Nokia plans to announce more at an event on February 26, one day before the opening of the Mobile World Congress. They may take this opportunity to launch the new Nokia 8 or P1. Who knows? We have our eyes wide open for more information. Whatever it is, Nokia is no longer what it was and I very much doubt that the Nokia 8 is as indestructible as were the first Nokia devices. That's why it's important to always protect your mobile. Whatever model you have, you need a case. And, what better than designing your own custom case in GoCustomized ?
