After rumors that have lasted for years, only recently was the existence of the Nokia 3310 finally confirmed. Are you ready to revisit a cell phone that has served more than a generation? If you want to know more read on ...
The Nokia 3310 is back, and with that so is Snake - the updated version of the iconic game of the early 2000s. Famous for its seemingly indestructible quality, the phone was presented at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on Sunday. As had been anticipated, the phone does not even have 3G. This reboot of 3310 is produced by the new company called HMD Global, which acquired the brand Nokia last year. The phone seems not to have lost the charm and original identity of the original, now released over 17 years ago.
The phone has a slightly larger screen than its namesake, and also has more colours this time. It has a camera on the back, which was not present on the original, but in 2017 could not be excluded. It has a removable back cover as well as the battery, the system is an upgraded version of the original S30 software. The software behaves much like the original. The phone will cost around € 50 and will be released in the second quarter of 2017. The original cost in 2000 was almost 120 euros.
With pleasant surprise we find that the great game Snake will return. Although in this case it is more a modern versiona than the original. How can we not mention the battery life of the new device, one of the main characteristics of the original Nokia. Well, this new Nokia looks promising with a duration of 20 days of standby time and 22 hours of conversation.
