The Sony Xperia XZ is one of the latest Android phones on the market. Similar to the LG G5 and Samsung Galaxy S7, it is a top phone with a lot of features and a matching price of £549.99. But is this phone as good as all the other options available? Today we will take a look and see.
The phones from Sony often have a bold and angular design and have been known to be quite thick. However, the XZ will be lighter at just 161g. The phone has a black metal back, with metal sides and a slightly curved display. Although it is not a redefining design, It is a very good looking phone!
The design of the phone certainly shows class from Sony. In contrast to many other brands, which have placed the fingerprint scanner on the back, Sony has placed it on the side! A very rebellious action! ;-) They have it directly below the on / off button located on the right side.
In addition, the phone is also waterproof. This can now be considered a standard feature for most flagship phones, but we still like to see it when it's done. Sony did, however, warn that if the phone is completely submerged or placed in salt water, the magic does not always work. But if you spill a glass of water over it, for example, there is no need to stress. Just don't take your phone into the sea when you go snorkling.
Sony has also done a good job of making bright and powerful display. At 5.2 inches and with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, the screen is more than sufficient and provides clear viewing.
Sony Xperia XZ runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, unfortunately, because Sony hasn't released the update for the latest version, 7.0 Nougat. So you can have not multi-task screens, but the update is likely on the way very soon.
In addition, the Xperia XZ has 3GB of DDR4 RAM and 32GB of internal memory, making it very fast and quick when storing data.
What do you think? Is it worth the price? We know what you believe is important, so let us know in a comment!
Or maybe you already have a Sony and you're looking for a phone case ? Then you've come to the right place!
