Read it on the back of the iPad
To find out what version you have, Apple has thought at a very simple way: the serial codes. You can find your serial number on the back of your device under the word "iPad". You will find "Designed by Apple in California Assembled in China Model A1xx" written on the back of your device. The code after the word "Model" identifies the iPad model.
Which codes can you find and what do they mean? Below there is a list of all the codes you can find:
- A1673: iPad Pro 9.7 "
- A1584 or A1652: iPad Pro

The back of your iPad is ruined or do you need a magnifying glass to read that tiny code? ;) No problem! You can discover the model of your device by following this simple path. Click on "Settings >> General >> About >> Model".
